The Colourful City: Notes on the North, 2026

In 2026, I was commissioned by the People’s Powerhouse for their Coast-to-Coast project as an Artist-Listener. I travelled across Manchester, having insightful conversations with 20 individuals about their lives in the North. They shared their thoughts and experiences, which I documented through voice recording and photos. Their quotes were included in the zine, creating an archive of modern living in the North. The zine was exhibited at the This is the North Convention in Scarborough, where I displayed them using acrylic stands.
